    Go, Rich!

Just remember, as the cowbellist, it’s all about you. Feel free to impromptu solo.

And I love Tracy Bonham. I YouTube “You’re the One” all the time.

  2. Comment by Jeffrey Pillow

Dude, that is awesome! “Mother, Mother,” still one of my favorites by Bonham after all these years.

    Rich,

If only they could hear you do a poem.
    National TV!
You have to find a way.

    This brings me happiness.

Is that music guy with the
    loud sport jackets
    still there?

  5. Comment by J.M. Blaine

    I think every TV program
    from Meet the Press
    to the Barefoot Contessa
    should have Rich Ferguson
    playing a cowbell.

    Even Tom & Jerry
    & the 700 club.

    & Baywatch.

    Call your cable operator.

Too funny! Rich, you magnificent bastard, I can’t believe you’re going to get me to watch anything Jay Leno related.

  7. Comment by Gloria Harrison

    Rad! That’s great, Rich!

Listi – this is the prime opportunity to start turning out those Listi’s Meat Market shirts we discussed eons ago. Or, at the very least, TNB shirts so that Rich can wear it on the show. Free advertising!

  8. Comment by Judy Prince

I had no idea you cowbelled, Rich! This is a must-see/must-hear.

Will you be cozy with the idea of permanent employment on the show? Then the larger world will hear our songster-poet-philosopher TNB man for the thoroughly enlightened artist we know him to be.

BTW, I once sat in the Tonight Show audience—-one of the thrills of my life! The stage seemed much smaller and cozier than it does on t.v.

As I recall, Leno’s wife has for years been quietly active in helping Afghanistan women.

  9. Comment by Jessica Blau

Very cool–I love Rich! Wish he was doing his spoken word on the Tonight Show! Maybe soon.

    This is great.

    Better start practicing, Rich!

    MORE cowbell!

  12. Comment by Uche Ogbuji

Finally, Leno gets a touch of class!

  13. Comment by Lisa Rae Cunningham

Only Rich could make playing the cowbell this freakin cool.

  14. Comment by Judy Prince

Is it too late to incise TNB on the cowbell?

  15. Comment by Gina Frangello

I’ve never watched Leno in my life, but this is just what it took . . .

    How ridiculously cool is Rich?
